Baby factory epidemic: 2 suspects arrested in Ebonyi


Two suspects have been arrested by the Ebonyi State Police Command for their alleged involvement in the operation of a baby factory in Imo state.
According to the state Police Spokesman, Sylvester Igbo, one of the suspects identified as Ifeanyichukwu Agwu, was said to specialize in transporting, young girls from Amasiri to Amaraku, Amaigbo in Nwangele local government area of Imo State where the baby factory is located and was finally caught after he tried to take the baby of one of his victims.
He was said to have transported a pregnant teenager, Uchechi Sunday, who hails from Amasiri in Afikpo North local government area of Ebonyi state, to a baby factory under the pretext of taking her to a provision store where she would be employed as a sales girl.
