My Colleagues and gentlemen of the Press Ladies and Gentlemen. Today, the
Nigerian Woman is making history, not of emancipation or pains or repression,
but of defined solid contributions to nation building, of partnership in the
development of human capacity, and trail-blazing exploits in leadership across
sect oral fronts. Ladies and gentlemen, today`s history book page is going to
be an eloquent rendition of the courage, tenacity, forthrightness of the
Nigerian Woman, to step out to fulfill her role in the society as a worthy
block fit for our collective national engagement. Brilliant, resourceful,
creative, diligent, hardworking, focused, determined, humble and largely
unassuming, the society has identified these beacons of enterprise and home
builders which the Maritime Management Series (MMS) plus Weekly newspaper has
the privilege of bringing to the fore under the brand title of Woman of
Fortune.
